Defrosting Overnight (12 hours) Guidance

  1. Place product on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper, allowing at least 6cm between each product.
  2. Pre-heat oven to between 180°c, fan 160°c.
  3. Place straight into the oven.
  4. Remove from the oven when the pastry is a golden-brown colour, and the core temperature is above 75°c (approx. 30 - 35 mins)

(Please note – we advise not to leave defrosted pastry products in a warm kitchen for any length of time. The butter in the pastry will warm up and start to melt. This will result in the pastry not rising in the oven.)

Without Defrosting Overnight

  1. Place the products on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper. Allow at least 6cm between each product.
  2. You will only be defrosting the pastry, not the whole product.
  3. Remove from the oven when products are golden brown, and the core of temperature is above 75°c.
